Tuition rates for students that began attendance at KSU prior to fall 2018, graduate students, and guest students, are available below.

Students that began attendance prior to fall 2018 are not eligible for the tuition guarantee program. These students pay the published rates for each academic year.

Please note, tuition rates for summer terms are not capped at the full-time rate between 12-18 credit hours. You can access more information about the tuition guarantee program on our “Frequently Asked Questions” page.

Dissertation II – Equal to approximately 1/3 of the graduate per credit hour rate: $178.20 ($152.10 Instructional fee/$26.10 General fee). Thesis II applies to all graduate students who were registered in a previous semester for 6 hours of Thesis I but have not completed their thesis.

3Based on the Student Health Insurance premium for one year. The United States does not have universal health care. For this reason, the university requires all international students to purchase the sponsored student health insurance plan. Under certain criteria, a student may request a waiver of this charge.Total is based on an estimated cost of the required books/supplies for each term and is subject to change each fall.

All international students are required to pay the $20 per semester International Student Activity Fee. The fee is assessed each semester to support the delivery of the various programs ISSS provides to its students.

An additional $474.30 per credit hour is assessed for each credit hour enrolled above 18 for undergraduates and an additional $549.90 per credit hour above 18 for graduate students. 1 The general fee is used to fund various non-instructional student and academic support services and operations at the Regional Campuses. Examples include disability services, learning centers, student activities and organizations.

2 Lower Division includes 10000 and 20000 level courses. Students only taking regional campus lower division courses will not be assessed more than the respective lower division cohort rate capped at between 12-18 credit hours.

3 Upper Division includes 30000 and 40000 level courses. Students only taking regional campus lower and upper division courses will not be assessed more than the respective upper division upper division cohort rate capped at between 12-18 credit hours.

4 Students enrolled at both a Regional campus and the Kent campus for more than 18 credit hours will be assessed an additional $474.30per credit hour for each credit hour enrolled above 18.Visit the Per-Credit-Hour Fee page for more information.
